haha, hey, sorry for taking so long. I’ve kept away from tumblr for some time.
but whats the point of tumblr?
I think you make it what you want, when I first made my tumblr it was on a whim really, with no real purpose. I decided that I would make it an online journal of sorts. I decided to do more personal writing more than anything. What I like of tumblr is that it is well known, yet its still relatively private. The things I write are personal thoughts, ideas, and comments. I don’t mind people reading what I write either, on the contrary, I feel that people that look at my tumblr should be able to know me for what I am. You can’t lie about who you are when you write to yourself, so people who read my tumblr would see the unfiltered part of myself.
pretty lame right? haha.
For me its a question of finding out more about myself, I blog things I like, things that make me laugh, things that make me think. Those along with my own personal additions all add up to some part of myself. The more I blog the more I should know about myself in theory. I don’t like talking about myself much so this also gives people an opportunity to get to know me a bit better.
So… tumblr is what you make it, its a great distraction and I plan on spending my summer adding stuff to my tumblr.
